How Kinesiology works

Kinesiology is a natural or holistic therapy that focuses on addressing the whole body, rather than just one specific area. This is really important, as by addressing the whole body you start to understand the root cause(s) behind a person’s symptoms, and then what exactly the body needs to restore balance & vitality.
Kinesiology uses Muscle Testing
In Kinesiology we use gentle muscle testing, a type of language that helps indicate to me where the imbalance(s) in your body lie.
Why test muscles?
Well each muscle in your body is linked to a particular organ energy or system (e.g cardiovascular, endocrine, digestive) by energetic pathways, called meridians. Perhaps you have heard of meridians if you have had reflexology or acupuncture before?
The muscle response helps me to understand which system needs support and what type or combination of support that is. This may be nutritional, structural, emotional or energetical (the 4 pillars to vitality).
The 4 pillars are the ‘whole’-listic whole body foundation of Kinesiology. When these pillars are balanced in our bodies, homeostasis/vitality is achieved. Simply put Kinesiology is an incredible way to understand what are bodies need to restore health and happiness!
There are so many areas that Kinesiology can help with. I’ve listed below for you to see, but if you would like to find out how Kinesiology can help you, contact me here, or email me on karen@kamalakinesiology.com
